How does Jaguar Plásticos' tool shop work?
During the development of an exclusive project, we went through a few stages:
- Technical advice
- Project viability
- Electronic prototype
- 3D printing prototype
- Pilot mold
- Final product
In stage three, the electronic prototype of the product is made in 3D digital mock-up, using specific software. In this way, it is possible to visualize an image that highlights the project and simulates its dimensions, labels and volume. 3D printing takes place in the fourth stage of the development of the exclusive project, allowing the client to visualize what the product will look like and interact with it.
Finally, once the 3D mock-up has been approved and the product approved, the mold is built. This is when our tooling team comes into play, ensuring that the mold is built within the technical specifications of the project. The final stage consists of validating all the previous stages of the process, so that testing and production can begin, always with technical and customer support.
